Shane Renard Henson's Obituary
ANNAPOLIS, MD- Shane Renard Henson was born February 2, 1968, to the late Cynthia and Berman Henson. Shane was raised with his parents and siblings in Annapolis Maryland. He received his early education within the Anne Arundel school system. Additionally, he received support and educational training from Providence Center early in his life which was at the inception of the company. Providence Center was the first non-profit company in Anne Arundel County to support persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He also was served by Bello Machre (An Agency that served persons with disabilities in Maryland) throughout his life. As a young man he acquired skills to work in various capacities such as, McDonalds, Holiday Inn, and the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Shane grew into an individual who loved the pleasure of dance, people, music, and food. If the party was jumping Shane would snap his fingers loud and proud! He loved to dance and eat! And he would ask you to dance, it made no difference what the time of day is.
Shane was a lifetime player of the lottery. Playing the lottery had to happen everyday rain or shine. He loved the lottery and promised to treat all his friends and family when He won the “Big Hit.”
Shane was preceded in death by His parents Cynthia Hicks-Henson and Berman E. Henson, Two brothers, A twin, Shannon P. Henson (Moose), and Berman B. Henson (Ness). Shane leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted sister Dr. Crystal Henson, one Uncle Joshua I. Hayes Jr.: (Annapolis MD). Three Aunts: Deborah Henson, Marvalee Henson (Annapolis MD); and Jeanet Keyport (New Jersey); and a host of loving and devoted family and friends, Karen Casey, Kenneth Moulden, Beverly Horsey-Colbert, Ronald Smith, Robert Coates, Tina Scott, Teenie Wright, Whitney Snowden, Van Henson, and special cousin Linda Dobson-Kehinde; and roommate Stanley Mocarsky.
