Dr. Scott Diamond's Obituary
Howard Scott Diamond of Millersville, MD passed away suddenly at his home on the weekend of July 23rd, 2011. He was 56.
Born January 24, 1955 in Washington DC, he was the son of Stanley and Florence Diamond. Scott was a graduate of Bowie Senior High School in the class of 1973 and in 1977 was a graduate of University of Maryland College Park. He also graduated from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery's dental program in 1981. On September 4, 1984 he married Gail Ellen Diamond and they made their home in Bowie from 1984 to 1993 when they moved to Millersville.
Scott often spent his spare time biking and playing with his dog, Buffy, but his memory always brings to mind his unique sense of humor. He also held an affinity for Asian style cuisine, always eager to share his knowledge and creations with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family and will always be remembered for the loving care he gave to his late wife, Gail and his children for so many years.
Scott is survived by two children, Jessica Michelle Diamond and Gregory Prescott Diamond of Millersville, MD. He is predeceased by his wife, Gail Ellen Diamond.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care, P.A. 814 Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401. Family and friends may call to the funeral home on Friday, August 5, 2011 between the hours of 6PM and 8PM. Burial will be at Bestgate Memorial Park immediately following funeral services.
