Shirley (Sarah) was a close friend when we were in high school and college. She always was so funny and so creative. I treasure the memories of our adventures together, especially our “youthful indiscretions.” She was devoted to Ronnie and Kierstan; their little family was so lucky to share true love. I think of her fondly, and often, and send hugs and deepest sympathy to her darling Kierstan and beloved sister, Flora.

I knew Sarah as she worked as a substitute teacher at Charles Town Middle School many years ago. Sarah was a special lady! She loved to laugh, was kind hearted and very caring. Thank you for sharing her obit in “The Journal” for her WV friends to know of her passing.
