Most words would be so inadequate as a tribute to Sandy but I can avow she was the most loving mother and wife. I’ve known her almost my whole life as we were teenagers when we first met. Sandy and I joined the Hoyle family more than 50 years ago, we were so young! Her children and family meant the world to her. We followed the path of all young wives and mothers, hosted each other’s baby showers, held family picnics, shared recipes ( she the far better cook), marveled at the resemblances of our children, bore some jealousy, worked out differences and spent lots of time on our phone chats. Later in life we were blessed to become grandparents, more phone chats, photos, and finally time for ourselves, spent on great vacations together full of fun and drinks and laughter as we grew old together. Sometimes life takes up too much time but we were lucky to always stay in touch. This was such a special gift. I’ve shared her life with her and Keith for over 50 years and her passing has created a huge whole in my heart. No words can express the pain I feel of her passing. I will miss her very much as I have since her diagnosis. Rest In Peace my life long friend. Love, Joan
