I feel fortunate to have been one of Sandra's many friends. She was a gentle, kind, and
caring soul. She was a dedicated massage therapist and healer who helped many people
with her healing touch and spirit. She also had a wonderful gift for bringing friends together for potluck dinners and other fun adventures. She is greatly missed!

I met Sandra when she was a member of a local fitness center. I fell in love with her, her positive outlook, her kind heart and her quick wit. She was a true favorite of all the members and staff. We often hung around and caught up with one another even after our work-outs. If I had gardening questions, Sandy was always there with suggestions and ideas. I so admired her ability to re-invent herself as a massage therapist; she relieved many of my aches and pains those days. Sandy was a blessing to so many who were lucky enough to have met her and spent some time with her. As I gather flowers from my garden this summer, I will think if her; she was truly a beautiful flower in my collection of friends. Rest in peace my dear and may eternal light shine upon you. My sincere sympathy to Sandy's family and friends for their loss.

I am thankful that I got to see Sandy this past Thanksgiving. She was cheerful and as interested in what I had to say as ever. She brought me several narcissus bulbs that she had arranged in a shallow dish with pebbles. I enjoyed watching them grow green and strong and tall. Once they bloomed they filled my nursing home room with beauty and a lovely scent. I still marvel that she could have been so thoughtful and nurturing despite her own suffering.
