Sandra Thomas Collier's Obituary
Ms. Sandra Thomas Collier, age 77, passed away at her home on January 17, 2026 surrounded by her family and her beloved “littles.”
Sandie was born in Baltimore on July 4th, 1948, and was raised and lived between Baltimore and Annapolis her whole life. She was born to Gene and Virginia Thomas, but raised by her aunt and uncle, Katherine and Albert Thomas due to complications of childbirth with Virginia.
Sandie was in the healthcare industry her entire career, which was up until May of 2025. She was an avid reader, huge dog lover, enjoyed NFL football until the players started kneeling during the anthem, loved her Maryland crabs, and absolutely loved cheering her daughters on in every one of their majorette, cheer, and softball games. Sandie and her sister, Pat, reconnected when they were older since they didn’t get to grow up together and let me tell you, they made up for lost time!
Sandie’s true joy was spending time with her two daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, her little dogs, and her partner of 25 years, Larry.
Sandie is survived by her daughter, Judy Hayslip McCleary, her husband David McCleary, her daughter Ginger Hayslip Busch, her husband Steven Busch, five grandchildren, Kaylee, Brandon, Lauren, Taylor, and Jenna as well as two great grandchildren, Eloise and Easton, two brothers, Tim Thomas, and Ken Thomas, and her life partner, Larry Seidl.
Sandie is preceded in death by her sister Patricia Cimarelli, her late husband, William Collier, her brothers Gene and Albert Thomas, her father and mother, Daddy Gene and Virginia Thomas, and Daddy Al and Katherine Thomas.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
