It was many years more than 40 years ago not long after the Supcoe family moved to Annapolis, that Ruby lead the trip for my Mom, Brother and I to visit the Naval Academy. Our families visited often and on another trip I remember going crabbing off a dock near their home. The excitement of that catch is well etched into memory. I remember Ruby's efforts keeping that single crab in the pot until it was steamed. We had our first taste of blue crab that day. So when I have crabs I remember fondly Ruby's efforts for us.
