Rosie Lee Creek's Obituary
On Wednesday, September 6, 2017 God took home with him his daughter, Rosie Lee Creek , also affectionately known as Rosalie and Ma. Rosie is preceded in death by her parents; the late George Creek Sr. and Bessie Simms. She leaves to cherish her memories 5 loving children, Thomas Parker, Geraldine Parker, Dorothy Parker, Sally Parker, Henry Parker and the late Roy Parker.
Rosie was born in Harwood, MD and attended Anne Arundel County Public schools . She was a member of Chews United Methodist Church.
Before becoming ill; she was a housekeeper for many years.
She loved spending time with family, going to bingo and cooking. She was known for her famous mouth watering rice pudding. She also enjoyed listening to gospel songs especially Jesus on the Mainline and she also enjoyed Fats Domino. She adored spending time with her great grandson, Isaiah. If she was feeling down, upset or sick; Isaiah would brighten her day.
She leaves behind: A legacy of 5 grandchildren, Tonya Parker, Brian Parker, Christina Scott, Lynette Belt and Tanya Washington and 6 great grandchildren Isaiah Perry, Kiara Holmes, Shawn Parker, Maiya Harrod, Chaun D Walker Jr. & Nasir R. Fann.
Five brothers; late Thomas Creek, late William Claggett, late Richard Creek Sr., George Creek Jr & James Creek. Three sisters; late Dorothy Creek -Proctor, late Eleanor Parker and Elsie Sollers.
She also leaves behind 4 devoted nieces; Jennie Jacks, Betty Proctor-Brown, Dana Sollers and Joann Parker.
Also 3 devoted friends Rachel Randall, Theresa Freeland & Marvin Harrod(whom she considered her other son).
She rest leaving a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to cherish her memories.
