Rosa Lee Snowden's Obituary
Rosa Lee Snowden was born March 8, 1944, to the late George Parker and Dorothy Forrester in Annapolis, Maryland. Surrounded by family, she passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Rosa attended schools in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She was lifelong member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. She loved church and served faithfully as a head usher. She enjoyed shopping, watching her favorite TV shows, supporting her family achievements, and listening to music. She was the heart of her family and the community. She was known for her hearty laugh and kind heart.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Snowden, Sr., one granddaughter, Shavonna Johnson; one great grandson, Clarence “CJ” Forrester III; three brothers, George Parker, James Surgeon, and John Butler; one sister, Patricia Miller, one niece, Melissa Miller.
She leaves a lifetime of cherished memories to her three children Lorraine Abney, Annapolis, Maryland; Marshall Johnson (Margaret), Columbus, Georgia; Morris Snowden, Jr. (Tijia), Glen Burnie, Maryland; grandchildren, Atyia Abney, Annapolis, Maryland, Sean Johnson (Allison), McLean, Virginia, Brandon Wallington (Torreka), Morris Snowden III, Marissa Snowden, Glen Burnie, Maryland, Mariah Harmon, Albany, Georgia, Marchell Johnson, Kennesaw, Georgia; great grandchildren, Khamryn Johnson, Anika Wallington, Amber Wallington, Athena Wallington all of Severn, Maryland, Eleanor Johnson, McLean, Virginia, Makhazi Snowden, Washington, DC., one brother, James Butler, four sisters, Dorothy Richardson, Gail Day, Diane Armstrong, and Sarah Johnson, and a host of beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends too numerous to name.
