Ronald Smith's Obituary
Ronald Smith was born on May 11, 1960 in Annapolis to the late Rueben and Sarah Smith. He was a devoted father, loving grandfather, and a caring brother, uncle, and friend.
Ronald received his education from Anne Arundel County Public schools. He worked for Ramsey Music in the late 70’s and the City of Annapolis for 22 years until he retired in 2010.
Ronald was united in holy matrimony to Lisa Ann Douglas on April 20, 1996 in Annapolis. Md. They shared 24 years of marriage.
He enjoyed playing flag football for the New Breed Raiders of Annapolis. He was a member of the Annapolis Raiders (Raiders Nation). He was so proud of his grandson’s love of the game and was at every game they played
He enjoyed dancing, music, and time with family.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his siblings Althea and Henry Smith.
Ronald passed away on September 14, 2020 and leaves his legacy of love and memories to be cherished by his devoted wife Lisa Smith, 3 daughters Tanisha and LiAundra Calhoun and Natalie Mosley, 1 son Ronald P Smith. 5 grandchildren Xavier Turner, Tania, Rylin, Evelyn and Dean Smith. Siblings Nelson (Flora), Carol (Donald), Reuben III (Rhonda), Deborah (William), Lisa and Tony (Gina). 1 aunt Ruby Smith Hawkins (Robert) 2 uncles Robert L Smith Sr and Charles T. Smith and the late Richard H Smith and a host of nieces and nephews. 2 special friends Michael McFollins and Tony Williams and a devoted cousin William Matthews
