Roger D. Gallion's Obituary
Beloved father and grandfather, Roger Dale Gallion 63, of Arnold, MD went home
to be with the Lord on Monday, September 17, 2012 after a long and exhaustive illness.
Roger loved the Chesapeake Bay, crabs, boating and enjoyed life to the fullest. Most of all he loved
spending time with his family; and he loved children. For most of his life, he was full of fun, laughter and had a rare quality of not worrying about anything.
Roger worked in the home improvement profession and could build just about anything he put his mind to building. Early in his profession he worked with his brother, Arnold Ray, later working with
his son, Roger II, at Gallion Family Contracting.
Roger is survived by his only son, Roger Dale Gallion II, 41 and only grand daughter, Carlee
Steel Gallion 10, both of Arnold, MD. and life-long friend (from 2nd grade), Howard Beall, 63 of Severna Park, MD.
Roger also leaves behind his niece Jennifer, who always had a special place in his heart and never failed to stay in touch with him throughout his illness. Other nieces include Carrie, Deanna and Tracey and their children, respectively.
His wishes for cremation were fulfilled by Lasting Tributes in Annapolis, MD. If you would like to
leave a tribute to honor his memory, go to http://www.lastingtributesfuneralcare.com/obituaries/Roger-Gallion/
A family gathering to honor his life will be planned later in the year.
