Roberta M. Gins' Obituary
Roberta M. Gins, 76, of Annapolis, MD passed away at her home on Saturday, August 18, 2012. Mrs. Gins was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 2, 1936 and is the daughter of Samuel Sturges and Elizabeth (Weber) Sturges.
Mrs. Gins worked as a bookkeeper with her late husband’s business Mid-Atlantic Recycle Center of Annapolis, MD. She is a charter member of Severna Park United Methodist Church, Life member of Easter Star #29 and member of the American Legion Auxiliary #7.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Wynn of St. Leonard, MD and Judy Robertson of Arnold, MD; son, Richard Gins, Jr. of Severna Park, MD; 10 grandchildren, four nieces and three nephews. In addition to her husband, Richard Gins, Sr., she is preceded in death by one sister, P. Christine Brown.
A visitation will be held at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care 814 Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm and on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 11 am to the time of service at 12 pm.
Interment will be private
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway Annapolis, MD 21401.
