Robert "Dean" Spencer's Obituary
Robert Dean Spencer of Chester, MD died December 8, 2015 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD with family by his side. He was 77. Known as Dean to family and friends. He was born on November 21, 1938 in Annapolis, MD to the late Robert F. and Cora E. Spencer. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, raising his garden in the summer, and his family. He retired from the State of Maryland and volunteered at Arundel Fire Department for 15 years. He will be remembered as a fun and loving person to all.
Dean is survived by his wife of 21 years, Connie; daughter, Amy Lynn Spencer of Alliance, Ohio; stepson, Garland Wayne (Margie) Alvey of Mars Hill, North Carolina; sisters Pat Boyer of Crownsville, Blanche Hopkins of Davidsonville, and Ann Lins of Pasadena; brother Art (Lisa) of St. Leonard, Maryland; grandchildren, Jazmyn, Jayden Hines, Nyzere Willis, Daniel and Patrick Alvey; and nieces and nephews, Kenny, Donna, Bonnie, Kim, Ricky, Debbie and Mary. In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 15 at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401 from 5:00 pm until the start of the memorial service at 7:00 pm.
