A sad day for sure. Bobby and I go back many years. When both of us were first married we were neighbors and did a lot of things as couples. We kept in touch over the years. I would pick him up for the annual Bladensburg H S golf tournament. Always a good day. R I P good buddy.

Bob is a cousin on my mother’s side. My great great grandmother Mary Ann Deem Richards Braund and his great grandmother Avis Deem Richards Slaughter were sisters. We had some great conversations by phone, emails and Christmas cards. I remember when he worked at Catterton Printing he was working on a Richards family history book. He sent me a copy of the only picture we have of my grandmother as a child. My family and I love it. He was a very nice man and I will miss him. My love and sympathy for your loss.
