Robert Ferdinand Offer Sr.'s Obituary
Robert F. Offer, Sr., was born on August 19, 1931 to the late John F. Offer and Agaline Offer. Robert was one of 9 kids, having 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
Growing up in Churchton with his brothers and sisters enjoying life. In 1952, On February 18th, Robert was drafted in the United States Army. After his tour of duty in England, he was discharged honorably.
Returning home from the Army, he met and married his wife, Geraldine. Together they started a beautiful family together that bore 5 kids, 4 boys and 1 girl.
As a master carpenter, mechanic and electrician, there was nothing he could not build or repair. Being called on by those who needed his expertise, the problem would no longer exist.
Robert was a true man of God, always praying and reading the bible. Never missing an opportunity to speak of God’s greatness.
Spending quality time with family was important. Expressing his love and guidance and enforcing the importance of family values.
Robert was an avid hunter from a young boy until his passing. This he shared with his sons and step grandson, Daryl Turner.
Robert’s love and spiritual direction will be missed. He was also a member of Victory Christian Church.
Robert leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Geraldine Offer of Churchton, MD, Ronnie Offer (Sheryl) of Harrisburg PA, Robert Jr (Darlene) of Tomball, TX, Lucinda Spearman (James) of Annapolis, MD, David Offer Sr. of Churchton, MD; 8 grandchildren: Coutize Offer, Demarko Offer, Shemeek Spearman, Shazzai Spearman, David Offer, Jr., Deja Offer; 2 great grand children: Addisyn Williams, Trenton Carter; 2 brothers, Richard Offer (Linda) and James Offer (Pamela) and a host of family and friends. Robert is proceeded in death by his 1 son Matthew and 3 stepsons Dexter Turner, Jerry Turner, and Adrian Blake, 1 grandson Ronnel and 1 great grandson Tyler.
