Robert Goulet's Obituary
Robert Goulet, 60, passed away unexpectedly on July 19 ,2023.
Robert was born and raised in Windsor Locks, Connecticut and graduated from Windsor Locks High School in 1982. He then went to Becker College where he majored in travel tourism.
He started his airline career in 1985 as a gate agent with Piedmont Airlines in Windsor Locks. He then became a flight attendant two years later and continued that career for the past 36 years on US Airways and American Airlines.
He moved to Miami in 1987 and most recently lived in Fort Lauderdale.
Robert lived life to the fullest. He was an optimistic, energetic, loving person who was always the life of the party. He lit up any room that he walked in to. Robert traveled the world and lived life with no regrets. He loved deeply and cared fiercely about his friends and family and would give the shirt off his back for any of them.
Although he was taken from this Earth and this life way too soon, his spirit will always live on. Robert exemplified what it means to live with joy. He loved life. He skied, scuba dived, loved going to the gym, taking care of his health and never said no to an opportunity to explore the world. To know Robert was to have an instant friend. He touched so many lives.
He is survived by his husband of 33 years, Angel Bermudez. He also leaves behind his father, Normand Goulet Sr., his step-mother, Lorina Goulet, his older brother, Normand Goulet Jr. and wife Mara Goulet, as well as his older sister Theresa Goulet and husband Donald Walker. He also leaves behind numerous other family members including cousins, nieces, nephews and his two dogs, Bindi and Bo, along with countless close friends who were part of his family.
He was predeceased by his mother, Doris Goulet and older sister Joanne Smith.
