Robert C. Davis Jr.'s Obituary
Robert C. Davis, Jr. passed away on April 29, 2017. He was born on November 21, 1951 in Washington, D.C. to the late Jane Staubly Davis and Robert C. Davis, Sr. He later graduated from Northwood High School and West Virginia University.
He is retired from the Federal Government Printing Office. Known throughout the Mayo Athletic Association as “Coach Bob,” he spent many years coaching his children in basketball, soccer and swimming. He was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Bob enjoyed playing piano, working on cars, and hiking.
Bob is survived by his wife, Frances (nee Urso); son, Robert C. Davis III (Christina) of Ashford, CT; daughters, Jennifer Ege (Edward) of Edgewater, MD, and Sandra O’Neal (Matthew) of Goldsboro, MD; sister, Nancy Goff (Loyal Michael) of Shady Side, MD; and four grandchildren, Morgan and Dylan Ege, and Robby and Annie Davis.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 515 Loch Haven Road, Edgewater, MD 21037 from 10:00 am until the start of his memorial mass at 11:00 am.
