Robert Bergen 's Obituary
Mr.Bergen was born on September 2, 1921 in Camp Meade Maryland to the late Robert and Lula Bergen.
In 1940 Mr. Bergen enlisted in the Army AirCorp 34 combat in Glasgow KY. He flew missions out of England as a bomber pilot for the Bomb Group with the 491st combat. He spent 18 months in Korean theatre in military intelligence. He spent 21 years in the US Airforce and retired as a Major.
He returned to Maryland and begun working for the NSA as a computer scientists with the Department of Defense. He later retired in 1994.
May 23, 1982 he married Mildred Nelson they resided in Crownsville MD.
Mr. Bergen hobbies included the Grace of God Homeless Ministry, through the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Gambrills, MD. He was and avid walker, he joined the Mall Walkers Club in Annapolis, MD.
