Richard John Vacek's Obituary
Richard John Vacek, 64, of Lothian passed away October 8, 2015. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 31, 1951 to George John Vacek and Mary Bagwell. He graduated from Chitose High School and attended the University of Maryland. He married Carolyn Prout on June 7, 1975 and had two daughters, Nikki and Emmylou.
He lived his life fully. He loved attending concerts, collecting music, reading, drinking margaritas, hanging out with his family and friends, and being the best grandfather in the world.
Rick is survived by his wife, Carolyn; sisters, Terry Bosworth and Suzie Vacek; 2 daughters and their spouses, Nikki and Jerroyd Goode, Emmylou and Ben Daniels; 3 grandchildren, Sophia, Jackson, and Olivia; and eight nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Jenny, Billy, Shane, Jonathon, Becky, Kelly, and Mary.
