I considered Reza to be a good friend. He befriended me while I was his mail carrier on Bennett Point Rd. I enjoyed our walks around his garden and his love of nature. He will be greatly missed.
I have known Dr. Feiz through work for 20 years and have had so many pleasant conversations with him, mostly about his flowers and trees. He would often bring my co-worker and I flowers from his garden which we treasured. I have actually dried several of them and still have them, which I will treasure even more now. He was quite possibly the most humble, humane and selfless person I have ever known and I miss him already. Always polite and respectful to everyone he met! The world has lost a hero for so many and a friend to all! May God bless his family...
Dr Feiz was perhaps the kindest, most gentle soul I ever knew. He always had a smile on his face and kind word for everyone he met. May he Rest in Everlasting Peace.
I never actually worked with Dr. Feiz but I did have some communication with him when i went to Whitsitt to test clients. What a sweet man he was and I have heard nothing but GREAT things about him. Rita Kulley, clinic manager.
I was a member of Dr. Feiz’s treatment team at Upper Shore Community Mental Health Center, off and on, for 20 years. He led his team by example. He was always glad to see me and, when I asked “How are you?” he always said “I feel good!”
At team meetings, when we discussed difficult patients, he would say, “He is our brother! She is our sister!” He taught us that non-compliance was always the fault of the treater—not the patient. I learned to hear him out when he surprised us in team, because he always ended with, “What do you think?”
Once, when I apologized for being late with something, he quoted an old Iranian proverb: “Whenever you catch a fish, it is fresh!” I’ve used that line many times since.
Thanks to Dr. Feiz (and Dr. Bautista) our little hospital pioneered the use of Clozapine. Many patients regained their minds on this remarkable medication. I have a sister with mental illness in Boston, and her treaters were way behind us. She eventually got on Clozapine, and now she has her life back.
Dr. Feiz helped many patients at Upper Shore. His passing is a loss to all of us.

Dr. Feiz wanted what was best for his patients and was an advocate. He enjoyed working with others and was a very gentle man. Rest in Peach.
DR. Feiz was a wonderful, kind, compassionate person. He was a great physician, co-worker and friend. He was always willing to listen and help anyone in need. He helped me though many troubling times. He would always bring in beautiful flowers and herbs from his garden. He will certainly be missed.
Dr Feiz was a very compassionate person. He loved his work. He loved everyone. He was always there for everyone. One of the best people I have ever met. You will always be in my heart.
I have known Dr. Feiz for over 20 years as a work colleague. First at Upper Shore then at Eastern Shore and now at KCHD. He was one of the kindest and most generous men I have ever known. He loved helping people. His calling was working with those for whom society had lost hope. His passion for gardening was legendary and almost always resulted in a bag of vegetables sometime during the warmer months.
He has joined the ranks of Angels with whom he walked every day. May he Rest in Peace.
