Born in Washington, DC, on March 9, 1942, Jean was the daughter of Alice Aloi and Thomas Perkins. She received her education at St. Cecilia Catholic School, where she forged lifelong friendships. On December 27, 1958, she exchanged vows with Marriott W. Winchester, Sr., marking the beginning of a 52-year-long union filled with love and devotion.
Jean and Marriott were blessed with three children: Maryalice Brady and her husband Peter, Marriott W. Winchester, Jr., Christine Hysan, and her husband Dave. Their family expanded to include three cherished grandchildren, Lauren (Nic), Erin (Stephen), and Marriott Ryan Winchester, and four adored great-grandchildren: Logan, Palmer, Gemma, and Oliver.
Jean dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, finding immense joy in hosting swimming parties for the family. A Bowie, MD resident for 61 years, she was a devout St. Pius X Catholic Church member.
In honor of Jean's memory, the family will hold a private celebration later.
