Regina Matus Carpenter's Obituary
Regina Matus Carpenter, 77, of Arnold, MD, died at home on March 18, 2016. Regina was born on March 17, 1939, to the late John and Julia Matus.
Regina was a long-time resident of Severna Park, MD, and Arnold, MD, and had many good friends who will miss her terribly. She worked as an administrator for the Maryland State Legislature and volunteered with the Naval Academy Sailing Squadron and the Severna Park and South County Concert Associations. She was a member of the Caritas Society of St. Johns College and of the Eastport Yacht Club. She loved to sail, walk on the beach, and read.
She is survived by two children: Jewell Carpenter Marsh of Frederica, DE, and Ronald d’A. Carpenter of Pasadena, MD; three sisters: Franny Rose of Wilmington, DE, Maryanne Jordan of Austin, TX, and Inez Matus of Pine Grove, PA; one brother: John Matus of Laguna Beach, CA; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
