Randolph McGowans' Obituary
Randolph L. McGowans “Randy” 66 of Annapolis died January 9, 2012 after a lingering illness with his family at his side at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Randy was born July 14, 1945 in Parole, Maryland to the late John P. and Alice J. McGowans. He graduated from Wiley H. Bates High School class of 1964.
Randy was a faithful member of the Cecil Memorial United Methodist Church as well a member of the United Methodist Men and Men’s Choir.
He loved reading the bible, listening to gospel music, playing football and golf. Randy is survived by two brothers; John ( Carole), Norman (Mouse Head), three sisters; Mary (Puddin) Moulden, Jeanette Whittington (Charles), Edna McGowans; as well as his devoted care giver, Maurice Isaacs, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing will be held at 9:00 AM Friday January 13, 2012 at Cecil United Methodist Church, 15 Parole Street, Annapolis, MD. The wake will be held on Friday January 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the church, with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Bestgate Memorial Park, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD.
