Ramona Denise Gray's Obituary
Ramona Denise Gray was born July 24, 1968 to the late Charles and Diane Gray. She was a longtime resident of Spa Creek Center in Annapolis and passed away on March 26, 2020 after a long term illness. She was affectionately known to many as “Mona”.
Mona graduated from the House of Prayer Christian Education Center in Harwood, MD. She went on to work many years for the State of MD in various administrative roles. She had a love for games that included cards, dominoes, and especially bingo. She was later dubbed the “Bingo Queen”.
Mona had a larger than life personality; some of her passions were traveling, singing, dancing, and cooking. And according to her she was the “best cook in town”. Mona had a contagious, hearty laugh that could light up a room. She was the center of attention wherever she went.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving siblings: Charles Gray, Jr, Ayesha Karreem, and Rukyyah Williams; a devoted aunt LaVonne Sanders; two nieces; a great-nephew, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
Mona was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Downs Gray and father, Charles E. Gray, Sr.
