Wow, in search for my best friend, I have come across this news and am deeply saddened. He did lead an amazing fulfilling life. I knew him as my best friends dad, but he also treated me like his own as well any time I was around, and that was pretty much all the time in high school. My fondest and funniest memory of him is when Sharlette and I wanted to go to a high school party and I had lost my high school ID. He sat there and cut one of our mall pictures up and made me an ID laminated with tape and colored it green with crayons to match the original. Sharlette and I laughed about that for years. You will truly be missed and Sharlette and family, I am sending my deepest love and condolences although a month later. I loved him like a bonus dad. Rest in peace!
