Phillip Maurice Harrison's Obituary

Phillip Maurice Harrison, age 55, son of the late Joe Louis Harrison and Doreen Thomas, was born December 24, 1966 in Annapolis, MD. He ascended suddenly but peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday April 23, 2022.
Affectionally known as “Phil” by all, he was the youngest of 11 children. Phil was an exceptional brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Phil was educated in Anne Arundel County Public School System and graduated from South River High School, class of 1985. For the past 26 years Phil was employed at Kato Marina as a surfacing tech.
During his rest time Phil enjoyed watching some of his favorite television shows such as Andy Griffin, The Golden Girls, Maury Povich, and Comedy Shows. His favorite team was the Pittsburg Steelers. He also enjoyed playing checkers, darts, and dominoes as well as sipping on his favorite drink of choice, a cold Coors Light.
His zest for life, positive jovial spirit, contagious smile and laugh was a magnet that drew people in.
He loved and cared for all of his nieces and nephews.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents Joe Louis Harrison and Doreen Thomas. His maternal and paternal grandparents. Several Aunts and Uncles. Brothers: Sterling, Vernon, & Wellington Harrison. Sisters: Sandra Butler, & Sheila Whittington. And 1 Brother in Law Larry Whittington Sr.
Phil leaves to cherish his memory 6 Sisters: Vivian Harrison, Jolyn Harrison, Sharon Joyce (Samuel) Joanne Harrison, Wyseola Harrison, and Tessa Harrison. 1 uncle Raymond Thomas (Darlene) as well as 3 Devoted cousins Timothy and Michael Boston & Lewis Joyce, 1 best friend Joe Justin, a special life long friend Siobann “Toni” McGowan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and coworkers.
