When I first reported to the 11SFGA and met Pete, we realized we were a couple of Irish Catholics guys from St Francis Prep. He instantly took me under his wing and was my SF guardian angel. I and every member of the 11SFGA were blessed. God rest his soul.
Pete was a great Soldier and personal friend. He personally saved my career in December, 1985. I would contact him on his birthday every year and thank him for doing that. RIP Pete
