Penelope D. Harrod "Michelle"'s Obituary
Penelope Delores Harrod, also known as “Michelle”, was born on June 24th, 1969, to the late Ernest Harrod and Loretta (Laura) Harrod. Penelope, who loved to be called Michelle, received her education in the Anne Arundel Co. Public School System.
Michelle was born in Hawaii where her father Ernest was stationed. After Ernest completed his tour in Hawaii, they returned to Maryland. Michelle worked in the food service industry at various businesses and enjoyed doing house chores. Those who knew Michelle knew she always kept her house spotless; you could even eat off the floors! You could always find her at mom’s house in the wee hours vacuuming.
Michelle enjoyed taking long walks with “Sugar” her sister’s dog and watching repeat episodes of Martin. Her passing has left a void in our hearts. She would want to be remembered for the way she lived and loved. Although she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to uplift us.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Loretta Harrod and father, Ernest Harrod (deceased); sisters, Leslie Chambers and Darlene Brashears; nephews, Ray Harrod and Kenneth Brashears Jr., and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
