Paul Henry Goszkowski's Obituary
Paul H. Goszkowski, 66, passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland on May 28, 2026.
Paul was born in Sayreville, New Jersey on July 17, 1959, the son of Henry Goszkowski and Cathy (Sadowski) Goszkowski. He attended St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana where he met his wife of 45 years, Lucy. They moved to the Chicago area where he attended the National College of Chiropractic, receiving his DC in 1985.
Paul and Lucy moved to Annapolis, Maryland in 1985 where he opened his Chiropractic office that same year. He was president of the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners in the 1990s. After losing his leg, he started a second career as a prosthetist (designer and fitter of prosthetic limbs), earning his certification in 2004. He returned to chiropractic for the last 10 years of his career.
He enjoyed working outside, maintaining the lawn to his own exacting standards. He enjoyed cooking out on his charcoal grill and dining in the backyard with his family even more. He seldom missed a Saturday at the Anne Arundel County Farmers Market where he knew many of the vendors by name. He made a hobby of visiting coffee shops and bakeries. He was a history buff who had an encyclopedic knowledge of the Civil War. His favorite places to shop were antique and junk shops, where he could always find something interesting.
He is survived by his wife Lucy; children Rob, Adam (Alessandra), and Hannah; grandson AJ; and his brother Jim and sister Mary.
There will be a service held at Lasting Tributes on June 19th, 2026; details will be posted on Facebook. If you send us a note at this email address, we will send you details directly: [email protected].
