My deepest heartfelt condolences to Paul's lovely family (he shared some beautiful pictures with me), I will truly miss Paul here at HUD. I have known Paul for several year and had the privilege and opportunity of working with him on several very high profile contracts within the Office of Housing. Paul was my co-worker but most of all my friend; he was also my hero too (smile) -- unspeakable courage he demonstrated during his illness. He was also very knowledgeable, extremely energetic (physically), always diligent in completing his work assignments as well as very supportive of his co-workers while conducting the mission of the Department. I do know that he truly considered me to be a friend too (he said some very kind words to me regarding our working relationship in the past prior to leaving HUD - almost as if he was saying "Good Bye." However, at that time, I didn't know then exactly the reason but I know and understand now. Anyway, I told him that he was one of the BEST Government Technical Monitor's that I have ever worked with. Just know that Paul will NEVER be forgotten and his courage was truly unmatchable -- I talked to him a short time before he left the Department and I know that Paul is truly in the arms of GOD and lighting up heaven on purpose with that lovey infectious smile. Rest-in-Peace Paul...you will always be remembered as a special person in my life history here at HUD. GOD BLESS YOU. FRIENDS FOREVER!!!
