Dear Family of Olivia,
I did not know your beloved personally, but reading the obituary tells me she was a young person full of fun and laughter and kindness. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family. The death of a loved one, especially a child is one, if not the most difficult trial a parent must endure in their lifetime. As a parent I wanted to provide words of comfort to the family that I have found especially comforting during the loss of a loved one. First please consider what God's Word tells us at 1 Corinthians 15:26 in the King James version: "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." Yes, our Heavenly Fathers Inspired Word tells us at Ecclesiastes 3:11 in the New International Version: "... He has also set eternity in the human heart...". Yes, no sane person wants to die, but yet we all do. When Jesus Christ was on the earth he showed us the hope his Father, Jehovah had promised to all those that fall asleep in death. Please take a moment and read John 5:28,29 where we are told : “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice [the voice of Jesus] and come out.” Do you recall the resurrection of Jesus dear friend Lazarus recorded in the Bible book of John 11:11-44 Lazarus family rejoiced after Jesus performed this miracle. Please dear family, hold onto these promises from our God, cherish the wonderful memories you have of this beautiful Olivia, whose life ended to soon and know that soon yes, you have the opportunity to welcome Olivia back to a paradise earth where your family will once again hug, kiss and rejoice to see her again. Revelation 21:4 states: "And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away." Keep these thoughts dear to your pained heart and know that Jehovah God cares for your family and what your are experiencing.
Sincerely, Linda Dyson, Park Hall, MD
