Nancy Lynn Titus' Obituary
Nancy Lynn Pearce Forsell Titus, age 83, died on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in Harwood,
Maryland. Ultimately dementia, complicated by a fall, led to her passing.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Lauren Forsell Brearley (Michael Brearley) and two
granddaughters, Allyson Elizabeth and Samantha Grace. She also leaves behind the children of
her second husband: Robert L. Titus, Philip Titus, Sheree Grap, and their children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Harrison Pearce; father, Frank Victor Pearce;
sister, Judith Pearce Russ; and two husbands, Ernest William Forsell and Robert Vernon Titus.
Nancy was born on November 30, 1940 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She was a 1958 graduate of
Catonsville High School in Maryland. After high school, she married Bill Forsell. Nancy and Bill
moved several different times during his service in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge, they
moved to Maryland. Nancy worked as a secretary and in personnel for the Electromagnetic
Compatibility Analysis Center for many years until retirement. Nancy and Bill were married for
17 years until his death. After being widowed for several years, Nancy was married to Robert
Titus. They enjoyed being a family and traveling together. They were married for 20 years until
his death.
Nancy enjoyed gardening and buying plants at Homestead Gardens, shopping at Macy's, going
to breakfast with her friends at Chick & Ruth’s and Grumps, getting frozen yogurt at Menchie’s,
or coffee at Starbucks with Charley Grayston and Echo. Friends and family will always
remember her feisty sense of humor.
A funeral is scheduled for Monday, February 19, 11 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church,
1601 Pleasant Plains Road in Annapolis, with a reception to follow in the church hall. All are
welcome to attend and celebrate Nancy’s life.
