Mildred Larkins' Obituary
Mildred J. Larkins, 88, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, died October 1 of a stroke at Gilchrist Hospice Care of Towson, Maryland.
She attended the public schools of Anne Arundel County. She was a lifetime member of Cecil Memorial United Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading, listening to gospel music, good preaching, traveling and entertaining with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter and caregiver Arthenia Johnson LeFlore of Baltimore; son Orlandes P. Green and wife Dedra of Vista, Calif.; granddaughter, Nadia Williams of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandsons, Donald K. Hawkins Jr. and wife Malonia of Ferndale; Delandes D. Green of Clinton and Aaron Green of Las Vegas, Nev.; nine great-grandchildren, Jaz’Ton, DiJhovah, Hezikiah, Lyriq and Zechariah Hawkins, Heavenly, Anthony and Lyric Williams and Sari Green,
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, October 6 at Cecil Memorial United Methodist Church, 15 Parole St., Annapolis. The wake will be held 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 7 at the above church followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
