Michael Patrick Jackson's Obituary
Michael Patrick Jackson, born on March 31, 1966 passed away in his hometown of Annapolis, Maryland on Friday, August 23, 2024.
Michael lived in grace, all the way up until the time of his death. He was the most genuine man in every sense of the word. Michael was a graduate of Annapolis High School. He was a member of the Navy in 1988, although his military service was short, his dedication to helping others continued unabated. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and easily a friend to all he came across. There was no one like him in the eyes of those close to him, and in the words of his daughter he was a man of his own choice. Michael strived to be kind to everyone, even when they didn't always merit it. He committed to being a devoted father to his daughter and stepchildren, and he made the choice to remain level-headed. He carefully considered his thoughts, words, and actions. He was the steady balance in his household, a presence that will be deeply missed. Michael was true to himself, honest, and the wisest person his family knew. He was capable of solving any problem, whether emotional or practical. Michael's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him, as a testament to a life well-lived and a character well-loved. His family will forever celebrate his memory.
He is survived by his wife Wendy Elizabeth Hiller, his daughter Margaret Jackson, stepsons Joshua Hiller and Timothy Nehring and his wife Ellie, and grandson Sylar Nehring. mother Pauline Taylor, step-father Raymond Taylor, his two brothers, S. David Jackson, and Ron and his wife Michelle Jackson, and his numerous nieces and nephews. Daddy, we love you eternally. Rest ever so gently.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7 from 1-3 pm at Lasting Tributes, 814 Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD 21401. A Celebration of Life ceremony will begin at 3 pm.
