Melanie M. Griffith-Rhodes' Obituary
Melanie Michelle Griffith-Rhodes (47) of Hurlock, Maryland died on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton.
Melanie was born in Washington, D.C. on March 11, 1970 to parents, Kenneth Morgan and Nancy Dobbins Griffith.
She graduated from High Point High School in 1988. Melanie worked in the Hospitality industry in Anne Arundel and Baltimore Counties. She enjoyed cooking, being with friends and family, and life.
Melanie is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Nancy Griffith of Keyser, WV; brothers, Brett Griffith (Shelly) of Crofton, MD and James Griffith (Daniele) of Monkton, MD; along with her nieces and nephews: Jack, Morgan, Brienne, Taylor, Kaytlan, Zachary, and Ryan Griffith; and her life companion David Burall of Hurlock, MD.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 2-4 PM at Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401 with a memorial service to follow at 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to defray funeral expenses.
