Dr. McGregor Ferguson's Obituary
Dr. McGregor Ferguson of Millersville, MD died on August 12, 2012 at his home. He was 41.
He was born in Arnold, MD. on January 27, 1971, the son of Ray and Jan Ferguson of Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Ferguson graduated from Severna Park High School class of 1989 where he was the class president of his senior class, he also played lacrosse and football. He was a graduate of Wroxeter Academy and graduated from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania where he received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his medical and surgical internship with the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Ferguson has been with CVCA since August 2000, primarily at AAEVC in Annapolis, MD.
Dr. Ferguson has achieved board certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, the College of Cardiology.
His specialties included: client education, cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization and pacemaker implantation.
In addition to his wife, Christina Marie (Marsella) Ferguson. and parents, Dr. Ferguson is survived by his children: Grace (9), Claire (6), and Alexander (5) of Millersville, MD, as well as his brother Dr. Andrew Ferguson and his family: wife Karen and children Cole and Reed all of Chestertown, MD.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 7:00 PM at St. Martin’s in- the- Field 375 Benfield Road Severna Park, MD 21146.
