I never met Miss Maxine face to face, but I was fortunate enough to chat with her and hear her laugh over the phone a few times while talking to her daughter Justine. Sometimes the measure of a person is found in the quality of people their children grow into. Using this as the bar for measurement, Miss Maxine was an outstanding woman, because her daughter Justine is one of the most outstanding people you will ever meet.
