It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Max Fitzgerald Bungard. Max left us on November 19th 2023 at the age of 20.
Born on March 17, 2003, Max was a vibrant soul with a passion for life that touched everyone who knew him. His journey was marked by kindness, resilience, and a genuine spirit that endeared him to family and friends alike.
Max loved to play basketball, make music, and never missed a Seahawk game. Max’s life was cut too short due to his struggles with addiction, but this is not what he will be remembered for. His faith and his love for God remained a central focus of his life demonstrated in the way he loved the people around him. Max would do anything for his friends and family. Even recently shaving his head in support of his brother Harry’s start at The Citadel. Those that knew him well will remember his ability to always express his emotions never leaving his home without an “I love you” to everyone in the house and ending his phone calls with an “I love you man”. Max brought joy and laughter to every moment. His warm smile and caring nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Max is survived by his parents Chad and Emma, his siblings Harry, Molly, and Beckett, his love Tati, and his large extended family of Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and Cousins that felt like siblings. In this time of grief, let us come together to celebrate Max's life and the positive impact he had on each of us. May his memory serve as a source of comfort and Joy to everyone.
