Mattie Pearl Hurley's Obituary
Mattie Pearl Hurley, 90, of Chesapeake Beach passed away on April 14, 2014.
Mattie was born in Calvert County, MD on November 14, 1923 and was the daughter of Lemual Harrod and Edith Diggs. She received her education from the Calvert County school system. She married Thomas Hurley Sr., also of Calvert County. Mrs. Hurley was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of St. Edmund United Methodist Church in Calvert County, MD.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Hurley Jr., grandchildren: Joan Hurley, Paula Hurley, Yvette Hurley Ford and Wykia Hurley; sisters, Bertha and Dorothy Holland; brother, Lemual Harrod; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hurley and grandson Anthony Hurley.
Funeral services will be held at St. Edmonds United Methodist Church 3000 Dalrymple Rd. Chesapeake Beach, MD 20732 on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11AM. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial to take place in church cemetery.
