Matthew Edward Luce's Obituary
Matthew Edward Luce passed away July 19, 2026, at Johns Hopkins Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Honolulu Hawaii on August 28, 1961, the son of the late Donald and Charlene Luce. Matt grew up in Glen Burnie before a short tour of duty with the Coast Guard. He moved back to Anne Arundel County where he met his wife, Peggy. They were married for 34 years and lived in Crofton.
Matt retired in 2021 and spent time raising his beloved puppy Remi. He had multiple hobbies including motorcycles, archery, model trains, slot cars and target shooting. Matt is survived by his wife Peggy, his sister Dellene (Tony), his sister-in-law Diann Critzer and a brother-in-law Thomas Critzer. His older brother Mark Luce preceded him in death. Final resting place will be at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
