Mathew Hu, loving husband, brother, uncle and friend died peacefully on May 26 at his home in Annapolis with his wife by his side after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife Jill Ardourel, brothers J Read Obituary

Jill,

I am so sorry for the loss of your lifetime companion. I know you will cherish all your wonderful times with Matt, and thank you for sharing the photos of your trips! I have such great memories of spending time with you and Matt in Washington D.C. when Austin and I were there in 2014. Matt graciously drove us around and we enjoyed visiting the National Gallery, not to mention some good restaurants. Even though we didn't get together in person during recent years, I also have good memories of all of our yearly visits with family in Denver in the 80's when we were were all so young, and of seeing you and Matt at Austin's high school and college graduations. I will remember Matt as a sweet, kind and thoughtful person and I am glad for the the chance to have visited with you both on FaceTime during the past couple of years.

Rest in peace, Matt!!

Dear Jill, I'll always remember you both at Can and my engagement party in Taiwan over Chinese New Year and our visit together in DC. It meant so much to be surrounded by family at those times. His memory lives on with us all.
