Masuyo "May" Gilden's Obituary
Masuyo "May" Gilden, 75, of Millersville, MD passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022.
She was born in Ashiya, Hyogo, Japan on December 8, 1946 and was married on the military base. She moved to California, among other places with her family, before eventually coming to Annapolis and making it home.
She met and married her late husband, Martin Gilden, in Annapolis and celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage. She worked at AIMS.
May enjoyed reading, bowling, and walking her dogs. She had numerous dogs and cats over the years.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Julie) Kozak of Annapolis; one grandson, Joshua (Ashley) of Severna Park, and two great-grandchildren: Axel and Mackenzie; one sister: Michiyo Akiyama of Japan; one brother-in-law, Barry (Elena) Gilden of Annapolis; and one sister-in-law, Sondra Fleming of WV.
