Maryalice Bassford's Obituary
Maryalice Bassford, a resident of Annapolis for nearly 70 years, died January 29, 2013 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 88.
Mrs. Bassford was born in Washington, DC on May 7, 1924. She attended Holton Arms School and later became a homemaker.
Maryalice studied music and enjoyed singing in the choir at First Presbyterian Church. She was a volunteer at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mrs. Bassford is survived by two sons: Robert Miles Bassford, of Annapolis, MD and William Allen Bassford, of Rockford, MI; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bassford, to whom she was married to for 54 years.
A visitation will be held on Thrusday, January 31, 2013 between the hours of 6-8pm at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD 21401. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11am at First Presbyterian Church, 171 Duke of Gloucester St. Annapolis, MD 21401
Burial will be private at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
