Mary Julia Little's Obituary
Mary Julia “Julie” Little, of Mayo, Maryland, passed away on February 19, 2026. Born on May 7, 1932, in Harlan, Kentucky, she enjoyed a long career in the automotive industry and retired as Comptroller from Herb Gordon’s Auto World in 1993. After retirement, she and her husband, Vern, made their home in Punta Gorda, Florida, where they were active in the American Ex‑Prisoners of War Association.
She was the beloved wife of the late Vern Little and is survived by her children, Steve Chadwell (Tracie), Tami Forsythe, and Cris Cunningham (PJ), three grandchildren, four great‑grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Allie Mae Smith; father, William Smith; sister, Bernice Key; and brother, Frank Smith.
Julie will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
