Mary Ellen Jacobs' Obituary
Mary Ellen Jacobs of Annapolis, MD died on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at her home. She was 89 years old.
Mary Ellen Jacobs was born to Mary and George Washington Parker on December 20, 1921 in Harwood, Maryland. She was the youngest of 8 kids as the last child of George and Mary Parker. She was a faithful Jehovah Witness for over 39 years.
She leaves behind three children, Leroy Parker, Terry L. Tipton and Vanessa D. Thomas; stepdaughter, Catherine Jacobs Samuels; beloved daughter in-law, Judy Parker; grandchildren, Courtney L. Tipton-Buiniskis, Breezy Cie Tipton-Gorman, Sierra Madre Tipton-Urbonas, Alkien Coates, Christian X. Thomas, Calum J. Thomas, Mikea “Kimmy” Pindell, Sileka Pindell, Eugene Parker, Jr., Tara Parker, Eugina Parker and Leelyn Parker; great grandchildren, Austin Buiniskis, Sonny Tipton Gorman, River Gorman, Isaac Tipton, Michelle Tipton, Cole Tipton, Alkien Matthew, Sierra Pindell, Jasmine Renne Beavers, Michael “Little Man” Kalandras, Alkein Coates, Alkien Coates, Jr., Myia Amiaha Coates and Alaiya A. Coates; and one great great grandchild, Alaya Matthew; supportive nieces and nephews of her beloved sisters, Martha and Louise Parker-Donald Snowden, Margo Snowden Parker, Martha Snowden Strong, Edwin Greene and other beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her two children, Eugene E. Parker and Vonzella Jacobs Pindell; and two grandchildren, Steven A. Tipton and Orlando Parker.
A memorial service will take place Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 65 Taragon Dr, Edgewater, MD 21037.
