Marion Catherine Kline's Obituary
Marion Catherine Kline passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on February 23rd in Syracuse NY with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late Charles George Kline, Mrs. Kline was born on July 24th 1925 to William and Lenora Mueller-Thomas of Bellmore NY, and dear sister to Anna Byrnes of Bellmore, NY; the late Helen Parrish of Westbury, NY, and the late Joseph Thomas of North Bellmore, NY.
Marion worked for the Dept. of Army during the war and continued on her work as a telephone operator for AT&T. Marion married Charles George Kline in 1951 and made their home in North Bellmore until their retirement to Newcomb, Maryland in 1981. Marion enjoyed making crafts and was known as the "Crafty Lady" among her friends. She was a member of the Easton V.F.W., E.E. Streets Memorial Post 5118 and Moose Lodge #1520, Easton.
In addition to her sister Anna Byrnes of Bellmore, NY she is survived by her three sons, Charles of Baldwinsville, New York; Thomas of Frederick, Maryland; and Robert of Glen Burnie, Maryland. She is also survived by, and was especially proud of, her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Road Annapolis, MD 21401. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 1 pm at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, 6827 E. New Market Ellwood Rd., Hurlock, MD, 21643.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
