Margie Ree Vinson's Obituary
Margie Ree Vinson was born on October 10, 1932 in Benson, North Carolina. She was the sixth child born to Ferdinand Vinson and Eva Ingram Vinson. Margie, along with her siblings, was born in a Christian home and she accepted the Lord at an early age. She was baptized at Small Chapel Disciple Church in Four Oaks, North Carolina. Margie attended Johnston County Training School (JCTS) during her adolescence and high school years. She, later, furthered her education at Winston-Salem State College where she studied Nursing. Over the years, Margie held various employment positions; however, her most notable position was providing childcare for family and friends, until her retirement.
Margie was a very nurturing and loving person to everyone who knew her. She loved her family very much and cherished her only child, Frederick Vinson Wall. She also adored her youngest sister and best friend, Ernestine.
Margie peacefully departed this life on November 23, 2013 at the Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Margie leaves to cherish her memories, one child: Frederick Vinson Wall (Evelyn); five sisters: Alea, Verlene (preceded in death), Geraldine, Christine (preceded in death) and Ernestine (Sam); five brothers: James, Ferdinand, Jr., Clifton, Donzell, and Arthenious (all preceded in death); four grandchildren: Tahera, Jonathan, Justin, and Ashley (preceded in death); three devoted nieces: Deloris (Roderick), Theory (Paul), and Kenetta; two nephews: James and Roderick, Jr. (preceded in death) and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend Lizzie Clark-Richardson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
