Margaret Ethel Stillman's Obituary
Margaret E. Stillman, a longtime resident of Laurel, MD, passed away on Thursday Oct. 20, 2016. She was 94.
Mrs. Stillman will be remembered for her amazing sweetness, and unconditional love and acceptance. She wasn't sweet in a timid way, but sweet in an all-encompassing, Southern charm, undeniable openness to each person as a unique human being way. She didn't pass judgment, but if she did, she kept it to herself. Everyone felt loved by her. Those of us who were blessed to be called her family understand what it really meant to be loved for who you "are" - not for who you "should" be or "could" be.
Mrs. Stillman is survived by her six children, Donald E. Thompson of Davidsonville, MD, Gary R. Thompson of Stevensville, MD, Horace F Stillman Jr., of Bedford, PA, Janet E. Huddleson of Mount Airey, MD, Barry A. Stillman of Mitchellville, MD and Becky A. Stanger of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
Mrs. Stillman will be laid to rest with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
