Margaret "Peggy" Anne Abbott's Obituary
Peggy Abbott, 63, passed away Friday July 7, 2017 in her home in Annapolis, MD.
She leaves her two sons Robert and Andrew. She is survived by her brother John Nugent. She was preceded in death last January by her husband Wingate Robert Abbott. Mrs. Abbott also lived with her dog Georgie and cat Tillie that she loved very much.
Mrs. Abbott was born and raised in Philadelphia PA and attended Archbishop Pendergast Highschool in Philadelphia. In Philadelphia, she worked for the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company where she met her husband. She was an avid reader and loved to cook. Mrs. Abbott was known for being an extraordinary contributor for school functions at St. Mary's School of Annapolis while her son's attended elementary school there. She also ran a successful independent catering business and taught at the Phoenix Center School of Annapolis for several years.
Mrs. Abbott had many close friends in and around the Annapolis area, was a wonderful mother, and will be dearly missed
