Margaret A. Moreland's Obituary
Peggy Moreland, 82 a resident of Davidsonville and previously of Lothian died April 12th at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Peggy was born Oct 4, 1929 in Davidsonville. She attended Annapolis High School and graduated in 1947
In 1950 Peggy married Herbert Carlin Moreland and they made there home in Galesville and later moved to Lothian.
Peggy worked at Arundel Gas Co., Edgewater for 15 years until her daughter Denise was born. Later she worked for Dr. Wilson, Wirth & Jones, Lothian for about 25 years until retiring.
Peggy was an active member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church for many years she worked on the Finance Committee, member of the Adult Fellowship and many other various Committees.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Edgar and Grace Howes Wayson and brother Clifton Wayson.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 62 years Herbert Carlin, daughter Denise Toney and husband Eddie and one grandson Josh Norfolk.
Also survived by brother Edgar P. Wayson of Davidsonville and sister Nancy Clayton of Crofton and many loving sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday April 21st at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, 122 Bayard Road, Lothian, MD
Memorial contribution can be made in her name to the church.
Burial will be private.
